Mobility scooters.

My first purchase was a Kensington S, 4&6 MPH in 2002 it is a robust job and regularly serviced . Last November [2006] it cost me for a new set of batteries, first large expenditure after services. It is used regularly for shopping, visiting the cemetery [4 mile round trip]. I bought an All weather canopy from F P M Sheffield [Fair Price Mobility] very reasonable.

Later bought a UGO 8 4 wheel all independent suspension, full lighting, 8 Mph. From FPM nice couple run it; the young wife has Msc so they know what is what. Price at the time [2/3 yrs] from distributor £2080,from FPM £1450. Delivered within 48 hours.

I also have a 3 wheeler Pride [export model] built nr Derby now gone abroad. It was useful for shopping good turning in aisles. But it is too fast; forget to reduce speed on bends, 12. 5 KPH.

Tried to sell it for £150 no takers.

Both 4 wheelers are taxed/insured.
