First the length of the staircase is measured to determine the track required
The width is then measured to ensure a stairlift can be fitted
The depth of the tread is also measured to ensure fitting is possible
The width at the top and bottom is also measured to ensure sufficient space to sit on and exit the lift
The angle of the staircase is measured to ensure safe fitting
A written quote is provided
The stairlift is simply powered by mains electricity
Brackets as above are fastened to the stair tread
The track is attached to the brackets
Brackets simply screwed to the stairs
The chair is attached to the track and leveled
Footrest is leveled
Chair is tested on the track
