Shoprider Mobility Scooter Range...

Shoprider currently offers the following types of mobility scooters – Altea, Capri, Whisper, Cameo, Paris, Sovereign, Monaco, Superlite, Perrero, Perez, Cadiz, Torino, Cordoba, Monza, Milan, and Traveso. Among these, the Altea is the lightest, weighing 32 kilograms only. The scooter comes in two models, three-wheeled Altea 3 and four-wheeled Altea 4, both of which can be easily dismantled and assembled. They also come with puncture-proof tyres and adjustable seats with folding backrests and arm rests. Meanwhile, the Capri and the Whisper are only slightly heavier (33 kilograms).

Another lightweight scooter is the Superlite, weighing 40 kilograms, yet capable of carrying up to 14 stones of weight. The Superlite has a maximum speed of 3.8 miles and can travel up to 12.5 miles on fully charged batteries over average terrain. The next in range is the Cameo, which comes in two 43-kilogram models. While the Cameo 4 is four-wheeled, the Cameo 3 features twin front wheels for improved manoeuvrability. Both models have detachable panels and swivel seat with folding arm rests.

In comparison, the Monaco and the Paris are much heavier, weighing 50 and 56 kilograms, respectively. While the Monaco can carry up to 18 stones of weight, the Paris can carry 21 stones. Both scooters have a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour. However, the Paris is capable of traveling to 16 miles on fully charged batteries, while the Monaco’s range is only 10 miles.

Perhaps the most popular scooter offered by Shoprider is the Sovereign. Weighing 74 kilograms and capable of carrying 18 stones of weight, the scooter has a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour and can travel up to 20 miles on fully charged batteries. The Sovereign features large pneumatic tyres that provide extra cushioning from rough surfaces, as well as a detachable, lockable and adjustable swivel seat.

Among the larger scooters, the Perrero and Perez are the lightest, weighing 94 and 96 kilograms, respectively. Although the Perez is considerably smaller than the Cadiz (weighing 110 kilograms) and the Monza (weighing 129 kilograms), all three scooters can carry up to 18 stones of weight. The Perez is also slower, with a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour, compared to the Cadiz and the Monza whose maximum speed is 8 miles per hour. Nonetheless, the Perez is capable of traveling up to 25 miles on fully charged batteries, right between the Cadiz’s 20 miles and the Monza’s 34 miles.

Finally, the largest scooters offered by Shoprider are the Torino, the Cardoba and the Milan, all weighing 140 kilograms. Both the Cardoba and the Milan have a maximum speed of 8 miles per hour and can travel up to approximately 35 miles on fully charged batteries. However, the Cardoba is capable of carrying up to 35 stones of weight, considerably more than the Milan’s 18 stones.
