Review 3.

Manufacturer: Electric Mobility
Model: Rascal 850
Quality: 9
Reliability: 10
Ease Of Use: 10

Comments: Two quibbles...one battery failed at about 14 months necessitating replacing both batteries as the remaining one could not be matched. This was costly. Exact replacements could not be found so they were replaced by 40AH rather than 50Ah batteries (physical size).

Battery charger failed after 10 months and was replaced under warranty.

How has it enhanced your quality of life: The scooter allows me to reach places and travel distances that I could not otherwise manage off road (e.g. National trust parks and properties; wildlife and wetland centre’s etc) as this scooter is a little more substantial than most and has a suitably high ground clearance and manages most of the slopes and rough ground found there.

Review 4.

Manufacturer: Rascal
Model: Liteweight 3
Quality: 9
Reliability: 9
Ease Of Use: 10

Comments: Brilliant scooter with better than normal ground clearance for a shopping scooter. It has a good size comfortable seat - very important when selecting a scooter. The double front wheels add stability but still leave you with the maneuverability so important to get around crowded shop isles.

How has it enhanced your quality of life: My scooter is kept in the boot of our car and accessed by an electric hoist which is essential as my stability is very poor. A word of warning about hoists. Do not cut the cost by getting one that is not FULLY electric and lifts and swings. Without the electric swing you will find the scooter swinging out at you when on slopes and can easily knock you over.

With hand controls to drive the car and the electric hoist I can go out on my own.
