FreeRider Mobility Scooter range...

FreeRider currently offers the following types of scooters - Ascot, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Kensington, and Westminster. Among these, the Ascot is the lightest and most convenient to use. Two models are available - the Ascot 3 (35.5 kilograms without batteries) and Ascot 4 (39 kilograms). Both can carry up to 18 stones of weight and travel up to 11.2 miles on fully charged batteries over average terrain, with a maximum speed of 3.7 miles per hour. Both also have removable battery packs and can be easily dismantled for car transport. Particularly noteworthy is that the Ascot 3 has an amazingly small turn radius of 80 centimetres for easy manoeuvrability.

The Knightsbridge scooter is slightly larger (49.5 kilograms) and faster, with a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour. It is capable of carrying 21.4 stones of weight and travelling up to 20 miles on fully charged batteries. The scooter comes with a highly adjustable seat and flip-up arm rests, as well as basket and front and rear lights.

The Mayfair scooters are heavier and capable of carrying more weight. Four models are available - Mayfair 4, 4S, 4S2b and Economy. The Mayfair 4, 4S and Economy all weigh 53.5 kilograms and are capable of carrying 21.4 stones of weight. The Mayfair 4S is the fastest, with a maximum speed of 6 miles per hour, while the Mayfair Economy is the slowest (only 3.7 miles per hour). All three can travel up to 20 miles on fully charged batteries. In comparison, the Mayfair 4S2b weighs 70 kilograms and can carry up to 25 stones of weight, with an astonishing maximum speed of 8 miles. Still, like the Mayfair 4S and Economy, the Mayfair 4S2b can be easily dismantled for car transport.

The next in range is the Kensington S2 scooter, which weighs 57 kilograms and can carry 25.2 stones of weight. With a maximum speed of 8.1 miles per hour, the powerful vehicle can travel up to 34.8 miles on fully charged batteries. Compared to other scooters, the Kensington S2 has a relatively large turn radius of 142 centimetres. However, it features a full set of lights, front and rear shock absorbers, and hand brake.

Finally, the Westminster scooter is the largest and heaviest, weighing 107.5 kilograms and capable of carrying up to 35.7 stones of weight. While it also has a maximum speed of 8.1 miles per hour, this sturdy vehicle can travel up to 37.3 miles on fully charged batteries. Its turn radius of 177.5 centimetres is the largest among all of FreeRider’s scooters. The Westminster is equipped with lift-up arm rests and a comfortable seat that is highly adjustable. Other features include front and rear shock absorbers, hand brake, and a complete lighting kit.
